Fees, addresses, office hours, telephone numbers, and request procedures can change after publication. Government databases are also revised on schedules outside our control. Although the material is reviewed with care, no promise is made that every detail remains complete or current. An Arrest Is Not a Conviction
Being arrested or booked does not prove guilt. The prosecutor may change or decline a charge, the court may dismiss a count, or the case may end without a conviction. Public access to eligible government material may arise under the West Virginia Freedom of Information Act, §29B-1-1 et seq., but only the record custodian can issue an official or certified copy.
